At the site where I observed, the curriculum model that I see being used at the center is a theory curriculum.

We have been exploring different educational theories and teaching strategies as a team, as we have been without a teacher in our classroom for a while, using the supplies and materials available to us.

For constructivist curriculum activities, our goal is to arrange for the children to participate in activities that will enable them to develop critical thinking and problem-solving skills, as well as feeling a sense of achievement as they accomplish them. In these hands-on activities, children will be able to explore topics of their interest, learn about them, and develop an understanding of them through exploration, testing, and experimenting.

Recently, our school just hired a new special education teacher. At the moment, we are working with her to develop lesson plans, create assignments, and set goals for our students based on her recommendations. It's important to provide children with fundamental educational experiences and a positive, safe learning environment that encourages them to explore their interests and supports their growth to their full potential using a reward system to reinforce positive behaviors and skills in our lids classroom.

For these reasons, I think the center's curriculum model is a theory-based curriculum.
