Using a pumpkin life cycle as the foundation for the Emergent Curriculum, students are exploring the life cycle of a pumpkin.

 Pumpkin Life Cycle lesson plans are designed to allow children to learn about the stages of the pumpkin life cycle. As part of each stage of the pumpkin lifecycle, a variety of activities are used, including observation, discussion, hands-on activities, and watching videos related to pumpkin life cycles, to help the children understand what pumpkins are, what holidays they are associated with, as well as to help them understand the process of growing pumpkins from seed to harvest. Additionally, it allows them to be creative and have fun.
